The village of Balloch is only 1km away, and has a good range of shops, bars, restaurants and outdoor activities including kayaking, sailing, golf and loch cruises.

It's the ideal base for exploring around Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park area, yet it's only 35 minutes by car/train from historic Glasgow, the UK's second largest shopping city.
